Tidewater Pipes & Drums is a member of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association and has a long history of competing in EUSPBA-sanctioned events in Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina.
The band’s 2023 competition schedule includes:
- The Colonial Highland Gathering, May 20 in in Fair Hill, Maryland (Result: 2nd Place)
- The Virginia Scottish Games, Sept. 2 in The Plains, Virginia
- The Scotland County Highland Games, Oct. 7 in Laurinburg, North Carolina
- The Central Virginia Highland Games and Celtic Festival, Nov. 4 in Richmond, Virginia
Several of the band’s members are also successful soloists, actively competing in events up to Grade 1.
